We have the beautiful Ruby Mountains and Lamoille Canyon on the horizon from your room.
We have four casinos in town each with their own uniqueness. Among the many restaurants in Elko, we have four Basque restaurants with delicious foods.
Their are several fishing areas, hiking trails, 4 wd trails, biking trails.
In January we have the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering, in June we have the Elko Motorcycle Jamboree. We have a Balloon Festival in September in conjunction with 3 other events. Elko has many fun and interesting sights and places to visit. We have a large Cinco De Mayo celebration with a parade and events at the city park. We have a Basque Festival and parade during the 4th of July weekend. Elko normally has fireworks 4-5 times a year. Cowboys come near and far for the Silver State Stampede the 2nd weekend of July. We have our County Fair and horse racing in the last week of August and the first week of September. We also have the annual Te'Moke Powwow on the second weekend of October. |
